In Illinois, they just passed a law that goes after deadbeat custodial parents that refuse to allow parenting time to the non-custodial parents.  SB 3823 brings remedies and sanctions for visitation interference closer to that of child support non-compliance, as it should be. Wow, any chance Hargrove and his misfits will find the guts to buck the women’s groups and courts that they cow-tow to and pass a law that protects what little non-custodians get now?  Ya’ think they can use Illinois to as a model to finally do something to protect children?
We were reminded of this video that was taken at the Snohomish County Courthouse a few years back.  While CRISPE bus was at the Courthouse and a small protest was going on outside, this woman walks up and asks to be interviewed about how the Courts and her Mother turned her against her father, and how she heard false allegation against her father, who she reminded herself years later, was a loving father. Check out the video – it is a wakeup call to the Legislature and our Courts – who apparently are deaf!
Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton has vetoed a bill passed by the Minnesota Legislature that would have guaranteed non-custodial Parents (the majority are dads) at least 35% parenting time with their Children.  What is incredible is that this passed the legislature in Minnesota, which recognizes the importance of both parents being involved in the lives of their children.  Look at Washington States own irresponsible Legislature, that forbids it from even being brought to the floor for consideration! The Good news is that the Governor, who is a divorced non-custodial Parent, has committed to putting together a group to look at meaningful reform for Minnesota to help fathers and children. The question for the State of Washington Legislature is this – just how deep is that sand that your head is buried in?  Can you possibly pull it out, or should men just figure that they must always pull out. It’s unfortunate this is being called the Sky Metalwala Legislative bill, really, it should be the Legislative Committee Wakeup Bill. Please, write or call your members of the State Legislature, requesting they put their 100% suppport behind the Sky Metalwala Legislative Bill SB6511 and any others that start to put fairness and ethical decision making in Washington State Courts. And lets pray for a wholesale changeout of leadership on these two vital committee’s in Olympia.
These articles of a series need to be read by all!   It is thrilling to see that after all of these years, the media is finally reporting accurately what happens in our mess we call family courts. Non-custodial moms and dads – you need to read these articles, leave comment, and facts to show the WORLD what has been going on to destroy the lives of innocent parents and their children.
Relish in the idea that the Courts are closed today, and this is one weekday that non-custodial parents are not being slaughtered by the likes of Sassaman, Bedle, Waggoner, Canada-Thurston, and the rest of the Commissioners and Judges that are hell bent on destroying the lives of young children that deserve both children in their lives, the the prersonal profit of members of the Lieyers Union, Guardian Ad-litems, etc.
Leave a Comment on this blog, or other news stories that affect families, and point out some facts that will help a non-custodial parent.
This message is short, but spot on target.  The message is clear, it gets the point across, and demonstrates exactly what is wrong today.
It’s Christmas, and you are probably struggling to get gifts for the kids, and food on the table, and pay the rent, along with the other financial responsibilities that come with being the family wallet to an ex.
Have a special Breakfast for Christmas Morning – something fast to make, as nobody has interest in working the kitchen while the kids have all this excitement. Pick up a small item at Michaels or some other hobby store to paint with the kids – they will have a gift to give away when it is done.
Make Christmas Cookies and Candies with the kids – let the kids paint the frosting on. On May 17th, 2004, Massachusetts became the first US State to issue marriage licenses to same sex couples. Clearly, there are differences between the gay marriage and shared parenting movements, as there would be with any two social issues.
Every social movement needs that kind of turning point; be it in Massachusetts for gay marriage, the Montgomery Bus Boycott for African American Civil Rights or the march to the Dharasana Salt Works for the Indian Independence Movement. On July 21st, North Dakota Secretary of State Alvin Jaeger certified that local advocates had collected enough signatures to have a Shared Parenting ballot initiative included in the November 4th election. Additionally, four national shared parenting organizations, Leading Women for Shared Parenting, Divorce Corp, Stand Up for Gus and American Coalition for Fathers & Children, will be working seamlessly with North Dakota advocates to educate the public about the benefits of shared parenting.
If you’re reading this article on your smart phone, tablet or via your home internet connection, it’s almost certain you could find $5 to donate to the cause.

The first is North Dakota Shared Parenting for Kids (NDSP4K), which is the main site for North Dakota advocates who have gotten shared parenting on the ballot. The second is Stand Up for Gus which is currently raising funds through a link provided here.
If we’re going to succeed in building this movement, we need leaders who will recognize, develop and seize opportunities. So I hope you now understand why I truly don’t want you to “like” this article… but I also hope you’ll “share” this message with everyone. In the following decade, eighteen additional States passed laws allowing gay marriage and fourteen others have rulings moving through appellate courts. High on the list of differences is that lawyers favor gay marriage, in part because it opens an entirely new revenue stream, and oppose shared parenting, as it lessens parental conflict, thus lowering their revenue. Recently, such an opportunity has emerged to launch a shared parenting movement, and I’m personally asking YOU for help. To the best of our knowledge, this is the only territory in the world where citizens will have a binding vote on shared parenting, without having to go through attorney controlled Judiciary Committee’s or Task Forces. Each group brings unique skills and assets, and jointly, we’ll be more effective than individually.
We’re already aware those who profit from the conflict generated by the existing family court system have met to plan their opposition strategy.
Funds raised by Stand Up For Gus will be used to offer support towards the North Dakota Shared Parenting Initiative and launch a National Public Service Announcement helping millions of alienated children. It would be almost impossible to argue that allowing gay marriage in Massachusetts didn’t help its advocates in Pennsylvania, New Mexico, California and elsewhere. But amongst the similarities is how shared parenting will be implemented throughout the world; territory by territory with each new conversion helping those that follow. Further cause for optimism is in poll after poll, shared parenting is extremely popular with the public, with no difference in the opinion of women and men. For the first time, we have the opportunity to bring prominent women, attorneys, domestic violence experts, celebrities, prominent social scientists and others to the cause. These extremists oppose doing what 110 of the world’s leading child development experts say is best for children, primarily for personal financial reasons. Donations will be used to ensure the benefits of shared parenting are communicated honestly to the public. After lots of hard work, the pieces are coming together, to have North Dakota be a launching point for a shared parenting movement.
They’ve generated millions from this system, and are willing to spend some of it to defend their income stream. The site also has impressive software, allowing you to share the news of your donation with all of your social media friends, letting them know of your belief in shared parenting. Amy LiIf you don’t understand how a woman could both love her sister dearly and want to wring her neck at the same time, then you were probably an only child.
I’ll promise you, if we can win in North Dakota, it will increase the momentum in your territory. Yes, we’re talking to larger donors in the hopes of receiving more significant donations, but we need to show commitment from the public to further their interest.
