After your child masters the above kindergarten sight words (list 1), proceed to these worksheets. Sight word worksheets contain fun exercises that help a child automatically recognize sight words.
It’s been hard for my little one to catch up on the sight words (Spanish is our first language). Thank you so much for adding the ‘more worksheets’ section in the Kindergarten Sight Words Worksheets area!! Each site word needs its own worksheet or they need to be in separate boxes because it can be confusing to see the two words together but separated by a comma.
Learn colors, learn numbers, learn the alphabet and other preschool printables are just a few of the many coloring pages and pictures in this section. These skills, eye-hand coordination, color concepts, picture and number comprehension, form the foundation for early learning success. Parents, teachers, churches and recognized nonprofit organizations may print or copy multiple learn colors pages for use at home or in the classroom. Print and color pictures of ties and other gifts, or even color pages of Dad fishing or playing golf! The repetition along with the variety of activities really helps students remember their sight words! This is wonderful…these printables are so helpful and I do appreciate the time you take to make these. I was curious if your Kindergarten Sight Word Sentences comes in D’nealian per chance.
It is exactly what I needed to have my firsties review and practice their Kinder sight words. They are perfect for my classroom, I have a question though; is there a format you could email by chance I have a list of about 40 other words I would love to make in the same way. I am finding my Kindergarten and 1st grade kids are having such a hard time in school as in Kindergarten they have to know how to read, right and spell 75 site words and in 1st grade they have 160 site words, 288 spelling words and 96 vocabulary words to learn for the year.
When I use to teach kindergarten I would have loved to find these but as a homeschool mom on a more confined budget I think it is a wonderful blessing.

It is hard to have mine learning a different handwriting and I cannot seem to change your files myself. We’ve created numerous worksheets to help your child or student develop a sight word vocabulary.
Most of our worksheets focus on one sight word; they contain helpful information on forming each letter as well as offers numerous opportunities to practice writing each sight word. Our sight word soup worksheets (fill in the missing letters) help a child learn sight words through a fun activity. Our curriculum strongly encourages kindergarteners to automatically recognize twenty-five sight words. By the end of first grade, our curriculum recommends spelling sight words correctly as well as writing independently. Check out these adorable Easter themed color by sight word worksheets created by Tessa Maguire.
As your first grader finishes the sentences with a common sight word from the word bank, she'll practice reading these tricky words, and writing them, too!
I am trying to use the time they are with me at daycare to help my kiddos with some of these words ect and the sentence writing worksheets have been a huge help to us. They have ZERO English language arts until kindergarten so we are learning to read (in English) at home. We recommend each child saying the sight word aloud as he writes to help develop a sight word vocabulary. Our sight word scramble (unscrambling sight words) is another fun activity that helps a child automatically recognize sight words. Each worksheet offers advice on properly forming each letter as well as offers many opportunities to practice writing each word. These types of activities offer a great opportunity for honing visual discrimination as well as building early reading skills as students must carefully identify both the target word and color word in the key, then find the target word in the picture and color it the appropriate color. I did notice though that on the worksheet for CAME the tracing word is FOR and on the worksheet for the word MUST the tracer word is LOOK.
There are some words my kids have trouble with that I can’t seem to find worksheets on anywhere with these words. I have left the words below that I am having trouble finding helper pages for if by chance you add these words or If I could buy these words in your site word sentences somewhere please let me know.
